Dundalk Community Theatre Presents THE GRADUATE Dundalk Community Theatre heats up its 2018 season with "The Graduate" from February 23 - March 4th. The stage play is based on the novel and 1967 film, and recommended for patrons over the age of 13. Individual tickets are $23 for adults, $20 for senior adults and $15 for students/DCT Actors/Children 12 and under.

Benjamin Braddock (The Graduate) is a confused young man. Since graduation from college, he seems uncertain about his future and has become alienated from the upper-class, suburban, "plastic" world of his parents. A proposition from the wife of his father's law partner leads him down an unforeseen road. Mrs. Robinson, the unhappily married, alcoholic, and dangerously charismatic "older" woman, tempts him into an affair. He spends his summer drifting through life and going on nightly "trysts". When his parents press the issue, he goes on a date with Mrs. Robinson's daughter and more trouble brews. Terry Johnson's stage adaptation of The Graduate, is a bitterly hilarious dark comedy, full of rapid fire dialogue between fascinating and horrifying characters. This play explores family dysfunction and the naive dichotomy of youth, in the 1960s.
