Center Stage Hosts POSTCARD FROM THE STOOP, June 8-9
In homage to the Griswolds, and intrepid, idealistic road warriors everywhere, Stoop Storytelling will present Postcards from The Stoop: A Live Radio Show about cross-country jaunts, Chevy Chase-style family vacations, and two weeks in paradise (or hell!) this weekend, June 8 and 9, at Center Stage.
The show is jam-packed with live radio show action: sketches with sound effects performed onstage; true, personal vacation tales; and music from the delectable Egg Babies Orchestra.
At a touching moment in "Vacation," Clark Griswold says, "When I was a boy, just about every summer we'd take a vacation. And you know, in 18 years, we never had fun."
The shows start at 8pm each night, with cocktails and live music from The Egg Babies from 7pm.
