With a legendary book by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse, music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb, CHICAGO is now the #1 longest-running American musical and on Sunday, Nov 23rd 2014 became the second longest running show in Broadway History! AND still shows no sign of ever slowing down!

CHICAGO comes to Baltimore's Hippodrome Theatre today, March 3, through March 8, 2015 starring John O'Hurley as Billy Flynn. John O'Hurley is best known as J. Peterman on "Seinfeld" for which he won a Screen Actor's Guild Award. He was also seen on the top-rated ABC hit "Dancing With the Stars," ABC's dramatic "Dance-Off!" and as the host of "Family Feud." He is also one of the most recognized voices on TV, appearing in dozens of animated productions including King Neptune on "Sponge Bob Squarepants" and Blake the White Tiger on NBC's "Father of the Pride." His musical theatre credits include the national tours of Pirates of Penzance, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and Brigadoon. In 2011, John was the recipient of the Ellis Island Medal of Honor for Arts and Philanthropy. He is a New York Times best-selling author with three titles including The Perfect Dog, which is becoming a stage musical.

Also starring in this production is Roz Ryan as Matron "Mama" Morton. Ryan holds a unique Broadway record, having played more performances of Chicag0 on Broadway and on tour than any other leading actress in the show's historic 18 year run. The role of Velma Kelly is played by Terra C. MacLeod who originated the role in the world French premiere of Chicago in both Montreal and Paris (Moliere Award nomination). She most recently hailed from the Broadway company. Bianca Marroquin made her Broadway debut as Roxie Hart and is thrilled to come home to her Chicago family. Also hailing from the Broadway company is C. Newcomer as Mary Sunshine.

Produced by Barry and Fran Weissler, CHICAGO is the winner of six 1997 Tony Awards including Best Musical Revival and the Grammy Award for Best Musical Cast Recording.

Set amidst the razzle-dazzle decadence of the 1920s, CHICAGO is the story of Roxie Hart, a housewife and nightclub dancer who maliciously murders her on-the-side lover after he threatens to walk out on her. Desperate to avoid conviction, she dupes the public, the media and her rival cellmate, Velma Kelly, by hiring Chicago's slickest criminal lawyer to transform her malicious crime into a barrage of sensational headlines, the likes of which might just as easily be ripped from today's tabloids.

The national tour is directed by David Hyslop and choreographed by David Bushman. Walter Bobbie is the director of the original New York Production and Ann Reinking was the original choreographer in the style of Bob Fosse. CHICAGO features set design by John Lee Beatty, costume design by William Ivey Long, lighting design by Ken Billington and sound design by Scott Lehrer. The production also features orchestrations by Ralph Burns, supervising music direction by Rob Fisher.

CHICAGO is a production not to be missed. And all the reviewers agree. Time Magazine calls it "A Triumph," Newsweek raves "Smashing" and Entertainment Weekly sums it up by calling CHICAGO "Broadway's Most Electrifying Show."

CHICAGO comes to Baltimore's Hippodrome Theatre March 3-8, 2015 .
