Belmont Manor House's THE POE SHOW Plays Final Performance 2/27
By: BWW News Desk
The historic Belmont Manor House and Rep Stage's Michael Stebbins (director of "A Dickens of a Carol") present "The Poe Show," a combination theatrical/dining experience featuring Tony Tsendeas as narrator of Edgar Allen Poe's most demented masterworks. Performed pieces include "The Black Cat," "The Tell-Tale Heart," "The Conqueror Worm," "Alone" and "The Raven." Similar to Rep Stage's recent production of "A Dickens of a Carol," tickets to "The Poe Show" include a four-course meal. The show will play its final performance on February 27, 2010.
Tickets are $80 per person (plus tax) and may be purchased by visiting www.belmontmanorhouse.com. For additional information, please call 410-772-4300.
Actor, director and playwright Tony Tsendeas has performed at Action Theatre ("American Buffalo," "The Madman and the Nun," "The Artificial Jungle"), Everyman Theatre ("The Crucible"), the Baltimore Shakespeare Festival ("Hamlet," "The Tempest"), Woolley Mammoth Theatre ("Rocket to the Moon"), Roundhouse Theatre ("The Cherry Orchid") and Center Stage ("Mary Stuart"). Tsendeas' Rep Stage directorial debut, "Wittenberg," recently earned him an "Outstanding Director" nomination for the 2010 Helen Hayes Awards.
