Annapolis Shakespeare Company to Present A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM

A Summer classic for the entire family, ASC's 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' will open on Friday, July 8 at 7:30pm and will run two weekends only, Friday-Sunday at 7:30pm, with a final performance on Sunday, July 17 at 7:30pm. The Charles Carroll House is located behind St. Mary's Church on Duke of Gloucester Street. Grounds will open for seating at 6:30pm. Ticket prices range from $25-$50 with additional discounts for families. Please call the box office at 410-415-3513 or visit AnnapolisShakespeare.org for ticket details. All performances are accessible for wheelchair patrons. Please call the box office to arrange any special seating needs.

The production will be co-directed by ASC artistic director Sally Boyett and Tony Award nominee/Helen Hayes Award-winning director/ASC resident director Donald Hicken. ASC's 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' is set in 18th century Annapolis, paying homage to the rich history of the Carroll House and the late revolutionary and early republic period. The production will star resident company members and season favorites including Olivia Ercolano, Brian Keith MacDonald, Matthew Pauli, Renata Plecha, Laura Rocklyn and Tony Tsendeas.

For General Seating, patrons should bring own lawn chairs or blankets for seating on the hill or upper terrace. VIP Seating (reserved chairs provided) are available near the stage. The Charles Carroll House will provide concessions including light fare, beer/wine, soft drinks and water. No outside food or beverage is permitted in the gardens of the Charles Carroll House.

In the event of rain, please check the Annapolis Shakespeare Company website, Facebook and Twitter pages or call 410-415-3513 for performance updates. If a performance is rained out, we will reschedule tickets for another performance of your choice. If you are unable to attend another performance, your ticket may be transferred to any production in our 2016-17 season.

Paid parking is available in the Hillman Garage on Conduit Street (entrances on Duke of Gloucester and Conduit). Limited street parking is also available. The Circulator trolley stops on Duke of Gloucester Street in front of the Charles Carroll House.
