AVENUE Q to Open Next Week at Vagabond Players
AVENUE Q with music and lyrics by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx, and book by Jeff Whitty, opens at Vagabond Theatre in Fell's Point on October 21st and runs though November 20th.
Directed by Eric C. Stein, this winner of the Tony "Triple Crown" for Best Musical, Best Score and Best Book, is part flesh, part felt, and packed with heart. Filled with laugh-out-loud humor and a delightfully catchy score, the show tells the timeless story of a recent college grad who moves to a surprising neighborhood where new found friends struggle to find jobs, dates, and their ever elusive purpose in life. The singers are wonderful; the puppets are out of control. (Adult content; recommended for mature audience.)
Located at 806 S. Broadway, the Vagabond Theatre is easily accessible to patrons. Show times are Friday and Saturday at 8:00pm; Sunday at 2:00pm. plus, there is a $16 Thursdays on Broadway! performance on November 17 at 8:00pm Tickets can be purchased online at www.vagabondplayers.org or at the door ($16-$24); special rates for groups available on line and at the box office.
