The cast includes Will Brittain as 'Trey,' Stephen Carrasco as 'Jeff,' Eli Gelb as 'Benjamin Cullen,' Cynthia Mace as 'Orsolya,' Idina Menzel as 'Jodi Isaac' and Jack Wetherall as 'Elliot Isaac.'

Yesterday, June 19, Actors' Equity Association, the labor union for professional stage actors and stage managers, presented the 2018 Advisory Committee on Chorus Affairs (ACCA) Award to the chorus of Once on This Island. The award, established in 2007, is given to what the committee votes on as the outstanding Broadway chorus of the season.

Second Stage Theater presents STRAIGHT WHITE MEN, beginning previews at the Hayes Theater (240 West 44th Street) on Friday, June 29, 2018 and officially opening on Monday, July 23, 2018. Young Jean Lee's dark comedy, directed by Anna D. Shapiro, will star Armie Hammer, Tom Skerritt, Josh Charles, Kate Bornstein and Ty Defo. The cast held a meet and greet yesterday and BroadwayWorld was in attendance! BroadwayHD, the premier streaming service for live theater productions, exclusively streamed ANN, the critically acclaimed play written and performed by Emmy Award winning actress Holland Taylor and directed by Benjamin Endsley Klein, beginning yesterday, June 14. The special screening event was also held last night, and featured the show's star Holland Taylor. BroadwayWorld was in attendance, and you can check out photos below!

Irish Repertory Theatre's ON A CLEAR DAY YOU CAN SEE FOREVER begins performances tonight, June 15! The show stars Tony Award-nominee Stephen Bogardus (Bright Star), John Cudia (The Phantom of the Opera), and Tony Award-nominee Melissa Errico (Finian's Rainbow). ON A CLEAR DAY features music by Burton Laneand book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner. The cast held a preview event last night, June 14, and BroadwayWorld got in on the action! Check out photos below!

REPERTORIO ESPAÑOL (138 E. 27 St.) - one of Off-Broadway's longest-running, continuous theaters, and the ONLY company that presents Spanish-language/English-translated plays in true repertory form in NYC - marked the occasion of its 50th anniversary on Tuesday, June 5 with a gala performance of EL CORONEL NO TIENE QUIEN LE ESCRIBA (No One Writes to the Colonel), a new play adapted from the novella by legendary Colombian writer Gabriel Garcia Marquez.  The evening concluded with cocktail/dinner at I Trulli. 

Melissa Benoist, who currently steals the screen in the title role of The CW's hit show, 'Supergirl', just made her Broadway debut as Carole King this summer in Broadway's hit, Beautiful-The Carole King Musical. Ms. Benoist just began performances on June 7 and will play a limited run through August 4th, 2018. We hung out with Melissa backstage after her debut performance. Check out photos below!
