As a 14 year old youth, Walter was transfixed by his first Broadway Show, the original production of 'GREASE'. His Journey to celebrity photojournalism began that fateful night. Meeting, photographing and getting to know the cast inspired him to spend his professional life doing what he loved. Currently headlining in New Jersey with his partner Richard and family members Dali (Jack Russell) & Gala (Schnoodle). Recently he made his Broadway debut sharing the stage with Hugh Jackman in 'Hugh Jackman on Broadway' as well as receiving the Actors' Equity Association Gypsy Spirit Award. The New Group just celebrated its 20th Anniversary Season with a one-night-only benefit reading of Jonathan Marc Sherman's Things We Want, reuniting director Ethan Hawke with the complete original cast of the critically-acclaimed 2007 world premiere production at The New Group: Paul Dano, Peter Dinklage, Josh Hamilton and Zoe Kazan. A once-in-a-lifetime Broadway event took place yesterday, December 21, following the matinee performance of The Last Ship when patrons were invited to meet Sting and members of the cast on stage at the Neil Simon Theatre (250 W. 52 St.) as they signed copies of the recently released Original Broadway Cast Recording. 16-time Grammy Award winning musician Sting, who now stars in The Last Ship (for which he also composed the score), was joined by cast mates Michael Esper, Rachel Tucker, Jimmy Nail,Fred Applegate, Aaron Lazar, Sally Ann Triplett and Collin Kelly-Sordelet.
