Walter McBride As a 14 year old youth, Walter was transfixed by his first Broadway Show, the original production of 'GREASE'. His Journey to celebrity photojournalism began that fateful night. Meeting, photographing and getting to know the cast inspired him to spend his professional life doing what he loved. Currently headlining in New Jersey with his partner Richard and family members Dali (Jack Russell) & Gala (Schnoodle). Recently he made his Broadway debut sharing the stage with Hugh Jackman in 'Hugh Jackman on Broadway' as well as receiving the Actors' Equity Association Gypsy Spirit Award. As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Elizabeth Wilson, famous for roles in the Broadway productions of THREEPENNY OPERA, YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU, and STICKS AND BONES (for which she won a Tony Award), died on Saturday in her home in New Haven, Connecticut. She was 94.

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater and piece by piece productions have announced that Afghanistan, Zimbabwe, America, Kuwait, written and directed by Daniel Talbott, will begin performances Thursday, May 21 at 7pm at The Gym at Judson, 243 Thompson Street. The opening night is set for Tuesday, June 9 at 7pm. The production is scheduled to run through Saturday, June 27.

The album, produced by Eliot Kennedy and David Chasefor Republic Records and under the musical direction of Mary-Mitchell Campbell, will be recorded at NYC's Avatar Studios on May 4.
