As a 14 year old youth, Walter was transfixed by his first Broadway Show, the original production of 'GREASE'. His Journey to celebrity photojournalism began that fateful night. Meeting, photographing and getting to know the cast inspired him to spend his professional life doing what he loved. Currently headlining in New Jersey with his partner Richard and family members Dali (Jack Russell) & Gala (Schnoodle). Recently he made his Broadway debut sharing the stage with Hugh Jackman in 'Hugh Jackman on Broadway' as well as receiving the Actors' Equity Association Gypsy Spirit Award. Ghostlight Records recorded the Original Cast Album of the hit, headline-making Off-Broadway musical Clinton The Musical yesterday, Tuesday, May 19 for release later this year. The production has book, music and lyrics byPaul Hodge, book by Paul Hodge and Michael Hodge, and was directed and choreographed by Tony Award nominee Dan Knechtges with musical direction by James Dobinson and orchestrations by Neil Douglas Reilly. Clinton The Musical is produced by Kari Lynn Hearn of CoolChic Productions, and Executive Produced by Ken Davenport. The recording will be produced by Dean Sharenow. The New York Drama Critics' Circle previously named Between Riverside and Crazy, by Stephen Adly Guirgis, best play of the 2014-15 season. Hamilton was named best musical. The selections were made at the organization's 80th annual voting meeting, at the offices of Time Out New York in Manhattan. As BroadwayWorld reported last week, legendary singer and guitarist B.B. King, known as the 'King of the Blues' passed away on May 14th in Las Vegas at the age of 89. The news was announced by his attorney. On May 1st, King revealed that he had entered hospice care after being in poor health for an extended period.

The Downtown Urban Theater Festival just presented playwright/director/actor Danny Hoch with the 2015 DUTF Playwright Masters Award at this year's Opening Night event at 40/40 Club (6 West 25th Street, NYC). The DUTF Playwright Masters Award is awarded to a writer that embodies the spirit of the Downtown Urban Theater Festival, founded in 2001 with the purpose of building a fresh repertoire of stories that echo the true spirit of urban life, while speaking to a whole new generation whose lives defy categorizing along conventional lines. Previous honorees of the DUTF Playwright Masters Award include Nilo Cruz (Pulitzer Prize winner for Anna in the Tropics) and Adrienne Kennedy (OBIE Award winner for Funnyhouse of a Negro).
