Syfy's sixth annual 31 Days of Halloween will unleash nearly 600 hours of bloodcurdling programming throughout the entire month of October, led by Halloween-themed episodes of Ghost Hunters (October 30) and Naked Vegas(October 29), a Scare Tactics marathon (October 28) and a trio of original horror movies including Zombie Night (October 26) starring Darryl Hannah, Anthony Michael Hall and “Mrs. Partridge,” Shirley Jones!

Big Thunder Productions will present Mercury Rising, a Benefit Concert by MSS Alums in the Big Apple, a cabaret event to be performed on Sunday, September 15th at 4pm at the Laurie Beechman Theatre. The event will feature songs from new, bound-for-Broadway musicals written by up-and-coming composers and lyricists from all over the globe, including Mercury Summer Stock's own Dan Marshall, Carla Rose Fisher, and Aliyana Stewart. This benefit concert will feature Broadway's Corey Mach and Drew Aber, and over a dozen of Mercury's NYC-based professional alumni, along with special guest Marissa Rosen. On today's edition of CBS' THE TALK, co-host Julie Chen admitted that while working in Dayton, Ohio at 25, she underwent plastic surgery to make her eyes 'bigger.' The procedure was originally suggested by her acting news director at the time, saying, according to Chen, that due to her ethnicity, she: 'look[ed] disinterested and bored because [her] eyes are so heavy, they are so small.'
