Ben Affleck to Direct Mob Drama Pilot for Fox

FOX Broadcasting Company (FOX) has given a pilot production commitment to The Middle MAN, a new drama produced by FOX and Pearl Street Films, and executive-produced by Academy Award winner Ben Affleck ('Argo,' 'The Town') and Emmy Award nominee Glenn Gordon Caron ('Medium,' 'Moonlighting'), who wrote the pilot script. Affleck ('Argo,' 'The Town,' 'Gone Baby Gone') is attached to direct the pilot. Pearl Street Films' Chay Carter ('Argo,' 'The Town,' 'Gone Baby Gone') will also serve as an executive producer on the project. Production is scheduled to begin in early 2014.

Spine-tingling episodes from live action and animated series will haunt Disney XD for a 'Monster Mayhem' Halloween programming event during AHHH-CTOBER beginning MONDAY, OCTOBER 14. Featuring more than seven hours of frightful family fun, the ghoulish event kicks off with a five-hour marathon featuring popular Halloween episodes from 'Phineas and Ferb,' 'Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja,' 'Packages From Planet X' and 'Camp Lakebottom,' as well as the Disney Channel Original Movie 'Girl Vs. Monster.' Immediately following the marathon, fans will be treated to all-new spirited episodes of 'Crash & Bernstein,' 'Kickin' It,' 'Mighty Med' and 'Lab Rats.'

It was announced today by Theo Kingma, president of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA).

Big Thunder Productions will present Mercury Rising, a Benefit Concert by MSS Alums in the Big Apple, a cabaret event to be performed on Sunday, September 15th at 4pm at the Laurie Beechman Theatre. The event will feature songs from new, bound-for-Broadway musicals written by up-and-coming composers and lyricists from all over the globe, including Mercury Summer Stock's own Dan Marshall, Carla Rose Fisher, and Aliyana Stewart. The procedure was originally suggested by her acting news director at the time, saying, according to Chen, that due to her ethnicity, she: 'look[ed] disinterested and bored because [her] eyes are so heavy, they are so small.'
