ESPN & ESPN2 to Air 2013 Reebok CrossFit Games, Begin. 10/2September 25, 2013 ESPN and ESPN2 will air the 2013 Reebok CrossFit Games from the StubHub Center in Carson, Calif., beginning Wednesday, Oct. 2, with four consecutive episodes from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET. ESPN - in its third consecutive year of CrossFit Games coverage - will air 12 episodes (originally carried live on ESPN3 in July) on ESPN and ESPN2 in October. Every episode will also be available via WatchESPN. Episodes will highlight the Games men's and women's competition with events such as The Pool, Burden Run, Legless, Clean and Jerk Ladder, Men's 2007, Sprint Chipper and Cinco 1 and 2.

SLEEPY HOLLOW Marks Fox's Biggest Drama Debut in 12 Years with DVR PlaybackSeptember 25, 2013On Monday, the debut of Sleepy Hollow (3.5/9) dominated its time period and grew +133% from last year's premiere of 'Mob Doctor' in the time period among Adults 18-49 (9/17/12, 1.5/4). Sleepy Hollow was FOX's highest-rated Fall drama premiere in seven years (since 9/5/06) and was the highest-rated drama premiere on any broadcast network in one year (since Revolution on 9/17/12 with 'The Voice' lead-in, 4.1/11; it also beat 'Under The Dome,' 3.3/9 on 6/24/13). In L + 3 day, Sleepy Hollow (5.0/13) is FOX's highest-rated Fall drama premiere among Adults 18-49 in 12 years (since '24', 5.4/13 on 11/6/01). Its +1.5 rating gain in L+3 over L+SD surpassed any new series premiere last season (high was Revolution with a +1.4 rating gain).
Guillermo del Toro to Appear on THE SIMPSONS' 'Treehouse of Horror XXIV,' 10/6September 25, 2013Director, screenwriter, producer and novelist Guillermo del Toro (“Pacific Rim,” “Pan's Labyrinth”) resurrects some historic Halloween goblins and ghouls in THE SIMPSONS' opening couch gag on this season's terrifyingly hilarious “Treehouse of Horror XXIV,” airing Sunday, Oct. 6 (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT) on FOX. In the couch gag opener, director del Toro throws the crypt wide open with a sequence that features monsters and classic characters from horror films throughout history. Then, in the first of three spine-tingling tales in the annual “Treehouse of Horror” episode, Homer travels around Springfield wreaking havoc in a rhyming take on a popular children's tale. In “Dead and Shoulders” Bart is beheaded during a kite accident, his head is attached to Lisa's body and they must live together as one. The final frightening tale, “Freaks no Geeks,” features Mr. Burns' traveling circus, The Burnsum and Bailey Circus, which has stopped in Springfieldland in the 1930s. Trapeze artist Marge and Strong Man Homer are performers, and things go awry when circus freak Moe starts to make advances towards Marge.
NBC Orders Military Conspiracy Pilot from THE FOLLOWING Writers for 2014-15 SeasonSeptember 24, 2013According to The Hollywood Reporter, the network has ordered a 'TRAFFIC-like' project from Adam Armus and Kay Foster, who currently serve as writers on Fox's THE FOLLOWING. Peter Horn will executive produce. Universal Television, Fabrik Entertainment and Red Arrow Entertainment Group pushed the project into development, with THE KILLING's Mikkel Bondesen Kristen Campo set to executive produce, as well.
