Zoey Roth is a second-year Theatre major at Northeastern University, with a minor in Environmental and Sustainability Sciences. She is from the Greater Boston area and has been involved in the performing arts since her first dance class at the age of 3. Zoey loves all parts of the theatre process, from scenic painting to performance, but aims to eventually pursue directing for the stage. Besides her artistic endeavors, she is passionate about travel, fitness, and childcare. She is incredibly grateful for this opportunity and is excited to connect with other students in the theatre community!
As the cliche says, you are who you surround yourself with. The second you enter a room, you are now part of it. Pursue knowledge, make connections, and give yourself a little more grace when that doubt creeps in: you deserve to be here.
Life at University is constantly moving, clubs, classes, and productions, all while maintaining a social life and friendships. There’s a balancing act required to avoid burning out immediately while still making the most of this chapter of my life.
