Hello! My name is Lain, I'm a junior majoring in Media & Communications at Johnson & Wales University in Providence. I'm originally from Westerly, RI, and I've always loved Broadway. My favorite musicals are Hadestown and Next to Normal, I love anything tragic. I've been acting in musicals since 2nd grade, but as a Communications major, my dream is to have a media role in NYC working somewhere in the Broadway department. Blogging for BroadwayWorld allows me to combine my love for communication/media with theatre, and I hope to grow my writing abilities through my time here. I'm super excited to share my college experiences and expand my knowledge of theatre! Thanks for tuning in :)
