Amazing Grace Circus!, the region's only year-round children's and youth circus, will present 'Circus-in-the-Park Extravaganza!' July 19 - August 2 in Memorial Park, Nyack, under their beautiful Cirque du Soleil-like tent at the foot of the Tappan Zee Bridge.

A World Premiere of Comedy in the Park is set to be performed at Two Roads Theatre on July 31st and August 1st at 8:00pm. The show is conceived by Lauren Lewis and is written and directed by Lauren Lewis & Cullen Kirkland. It features Mckenna Kelly-Eiding, Lauren Lewis, Cullen Kirkland and Houston Rhines.

Jay Leno once coined the phrase Plaidheads, referring to fans (such as himself) of the hit stage production, Forever Plaid. Well on July 9th, Plaidheads nation wide gathered to celebrate the screening of one of Off-Broadway's most popular and critically acclaimed musicals, as it made its first appearance on the big screen in the Forever Plaid 20th Anniversary Special event on Thursday, July 9th. Select members from the original ?Forever Plaid?cast with narration provied by David Hyde Pierce for the pre-taped anniversary performance, as they introduce the event live from the red carpet at Los Angeles' Club Nokia to fans in 500 movie theaters across the country and Canada, followed by a specially-taped 20th Anniversary performance of ?Forever Plaid.? Audiences across the country experienced a memorable evening, combining the 20th Anniversary event classic production with new and interactive twists, including a first-ever live, coast-to-coast in-theater sing-a-long with ?The Plaids.?

In conjunction with the Bountiful/Davis Art Center?s 21st Annual Summerfest International (August 6 ? 8 at Bountiful City Park ? 400 N. 200 W.), the Utah Cultural Celebration Center presents International folk musicians and dancers from three different countries to wrap up the 2009 WorldStage! summer concerts.

?Snow Falling on Cedars?, written by David Guterson, adapted for the stage by Kevin McKeon, and directed by Kevin McKeon is set to be presented by Community Asian Theatre of the Sierra (CATS) March 18 - April 10, 2010, at the Nevada Theatre. Auditions for the show will take place on Saturday, October 17, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., Sunday, October 18, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.. Callbacks by invitation: Monday, October 19, 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.. Auditions are set to be hled at the Nevada Theatre, 401 Broad St., Nevada City. Rehearsals will commence on February 8, 2010.

On April 20th 1999, the world watched as two young men presumed to be outcasts walked into their high-school, and attempted to massacre hundreds of their peers. Although failing in their original mission to kill 250 students, the two teens left twelve students and a teacher fatally wounded, and many others scarred for life. 'The Columbine Project' examines exactly what went through the minds of several students including the killers, who at one time, were just normal kids. We follow as the plan is kept secret and as the soon-to-be victims prepare for a future they would never see.

BWAC opened the 19th century iron gates of its historic Red Hook waterfront gallery on July 11th to exhibit 800+ new works in every medium, many that interpret and reveal the world in novel and experimental ways. The show is free of charge and take place from July 11 - August 16 (weekends 1-6pm).

Five-time Grammy-winner Faith Hill makes her Hollywood Bowl debut with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra and fellow Grammy-winner, conductor David Campbell, for a special evening of music from the iconic performer?s multi-platinum recording career, Friday, July 17, and Saturday, July 18, at 8:30 p.m. The first half of the concert, performed by the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra (HBO), features an unexpected mix of movie scores and other eclectic selections chosen by Campbell and Hill. No strangers to each other, Hill and Campbell?s previous collaborations include her 2002 release, Cry, Christmas CD, Joy to the World, and Hill?s recording of the Oscar-nominated ?There You?ll Be,? from the Pearl Harbor soundtrack, arranged and conducted by Campbell. For the second half of the concert, Hill joins the orchestra to delight the audience with some of her best-loved No. 1 hits from her multi-platinum career, including ?Breathe,? ?This Kiss,? ?The Way You Love Me,? ?Cry? and ?Piece of My Heart.?

Baby It's You!, a new musical, will have its world premiere at The Coast Playhouse (8325 Santa Monica Blvd. in West Hollywood) with performances from July 18 ? August 30. American Pop Anthology (co-producers of the musical Million Dollar Quartet, still running in Chicago after nine months, and heading for Broadway) will present the new musical written by Colin Escott (Million Dollar Quartet) and Floyd Mutrux (Million Dollar Quartet and the award-winning film American Hot Wax). Directed by Mutrux, Baby It's You! is about the passion and determination of New Jersey housewife Florence Greenberg, who in the 1960?s built one of the most successful-ever independent record companies with such discoveries like The Shirelles and found forbidden love.

At the Annual General Meeting held this evening in the Mainstage lobby, Gerry Couture, Chair of the MTC Board of Trustees, announced that the Manitoba Theatre Centre was able to positively exceed its 2008-09 budget by $82,307.

Showcasing some of the hottest talent in Houston's vibrant contemporary art community, DiverseWorks once again joins forces with Artadia to present $TIMULUS. The exhibition features new work by the 2008 recipients of the Artadia Awards. Artadia: The Fund for Art and Dialogue offers substantial artist awards in five cities including Houston. The most recent round of Artadia Awardees, who were selected following an open application call to all visual artists living and working in Harris County, include artists working in video, painting, sculpture, site-specific installation, photography, and collage, and represent the range and depth of Houston's creative force. Artists in $TIMULUS are Mequitta Ahuja, Dawolu Jabari Anderson, Katy Heinlein, Lauren Kelley, El Franco Lee II, Lynne McCabe, Delilah Montoya, Katrina Moorhead, Floyd Newsum, and Stephanie Toppin.

An anti-social piece about friends, intuitive storytelling, comedy capers and more are being offered this summer by CoHo Productions in its first ever summer programming: Endless Summer. This is our ambitious endeavor to co-produce at least one performance in the CoHo Theater every night beginning Thursday, July 9, until August 29! They're cheap too! Every production has at least one performance in which ticket prices start at $5.
