The Grand Theatre, located at Salt Lake Community College, South City Campus is set to present this limited engagement of Four Guys Names Jose and ulna mujer named Maria, playing May 6-16th, 2009.
Four young Latino men, a chance meeting at Burrito world and a beautiful woman named Maria! Even though their ancestral roots are different, not only do they share a common name, they also share a common dream to stage a show of Latin standards. Performed in Spanish and English, this features some of the most evocative Latin music ever written, including such standards as La Bamba, Guantanamera, I Like It, Like That and Besame Mucho, and is brimming with the zest of life intrinsic to the Latino culture! The production will be directed by the Grand Theatre’s Artistic Director, Richard Scott with musical direction by Kevin Mathie.
