Steve Harvey Hosts MotorCity Casino Hotel's RADIO STAR 6/11

MotorCity Casino Hotel is proud to announce Radio Star, a stand-up comedy and singing competition, presented by State Farm and WMXD 92.3FM,  at Sound Board Thursday, June 11th at 7:00 p.m. This event is hosted by comedian and radio show personality, Steve Harvey.

State Farm and WMXD 92.3FM are giving aspiring artists a shot at being a real life Radio Star. Contestants will perform in front of a live audience at Sound Board and will have the opportunity to advance to the finals. Steve Harvey is a comedian, actor, entertainer, radio personality and is currently the host of The Steve Harvey Morning Show, and Radio Star 2009. He is best known for his role in the WB sit com The Steve Harvey Show, winning multiple NAACP Image Awards. In 2007, he won the Syndicated Personality/Show of the Year award by Radio & Records magazine.

Sound Board, an intimate live performance venue is located at MotorCity Casino Hotel.  The venue features four bars and several private suites that are available to create an unforgettable live entertainment event. Complimentary valet and convenient self parking is also available.
