According to the Connecticut Post, Tony Award-winner Frankie Michaels has died at age 60. He passed away on March 30th in his home in Chittenango, NY.

The School at Steps, a multidisciplinary dance center committed to inspiring the dancers of tomorrow through nurturing mentorship, will open it's doors to dancers of all ages and levels for The Injury Prevention Workshop, the final panel of its 2015-2016 Complete Dancer Series on Sunday, April 10, 2016. Led by health, wellness and medical professionals, this workshop will cover the importance of strength training, flexibility, injury prevention and recovery, and nutrition to enable a successful dance career.

Carolyn Dorfman Dance, whose bold and dramatic works connect life and movement, hosts its annual performance and gala benefit at New Jersey's premiere performing arts center (NJPAC), Friday, April 8, 2016, at 8:00 p.m. Ten of Dorfman's stunning dancers will present the world premiere of Traces-her newest work in collaboration with her stellar artistic team from her award winning, Interior Designs. Her riveting and explosive Echad and the sensuous duet Keystone will also be performed during this celebratory evening. The Jerry Vezza Quartet will entertain during the pre-show reception, beginning at 6:00 p.m. and at the dessert reception following the performance. Traces will have its New York premiere the following weekend on April 16th, 8:00 p.m., at LaGuardia Performing Arts Center (LPAC), Long Island City, Queens.

Young Vic has released a short film honoring legendary director Peter Brook with a star-studded cast, including Ian McKellen, Natalie Dormer, Jude Law, David Lan, Kobna Holdbrook-Smith, Rory Kinnear, Marcello Magni, Sinead Matthews, Hugh Skinner, Noma Dumezweni, and Peter Brook himself.

According to Mail Tribune, Camelot Theatre's artistic director Livia Genise has quit her post due to the theatre's board of directors cancelling the production of CHESS Genise had been planning for this September.

In an interview with The Stage, Tony Award winning lyricist and book writer Don Black revealed that STEPHEN WARD will be making a reappearance on the stage after being re-worked. The musical has music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics and book co-written by Black and Christopher Hampton. The show opened in 2013 in London and ran for almost four months.

According to EW, Jessica Henwick will play Colleen Wing in Marvel's upcoming Netflix series IRON FIST. Her character is a martial arts expert who runs her own dojo. She will also be one of Iron Fist's (Finn Jones) key allies as he returns to New York.

Emmy Award winner Wayne Brady will end his run in KINKY BOOTS as Lola/Simon today. Brady took over the role in November from Billy Porter, who won a Tony in 2013 for his performance. The actor took to Twitter to post a video commemorating his final performance. Check it out below!
