Beowulf Alley Theatre's Old Time Radio Theatre Company will present classic productions and reproductions from the golden days of radio at the theatre, 11 South 6th Avenue (Downtown between Broadway and Congress). Performances in October will be Tuesdays at 7 p.m. on October 4, and October 18, 2011. Tickets purchased online at www.beowulfalley.org at least the day before a performance are $8.00. Festival Stage of Winston-Salem opens its second season with Joan Vail Thorne's enchanting comedy, 'The Exact Center of the Universe,' featuring daily performances, except Mondays, October 21 to November 6 in the Hanesbrands Theatre at the Milton Rhodes Center for the Arts in downtown Winston-Salem.

Robin Hood, The Black Eyed Peas, Chase, DAS Communications, NYC Department of Parks & Recreation, the Central Park Conservancy and Clear Channel Radio have joined forces to host the six-time Grammy-award winning group's first-ever live concert in Central Park on the Great Lawn Friday, September 30, from 6:00pm - 10:00pm, with media check-in starting at 3:00pm.

All performances at Philadelphia's Kimmel Center have been cancelled due to the International Association of Theatrical Stage Employees initiated strike against them. Kimmel Center's contracts with IATSE, which represents ushers, box office personnel, stagehands and wardrobe employees, expired on Saturday, October 1.

Written and performed by Hendrix and directed by Peter Deffet, the show is a hilarious coming out story and guide to gay for budding lesbians, no matter their sexual orientation.
