Secret Theatre Musicals has announced their production of Andrew Lippa's THE WILD PARTY. With a book, music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa (You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, John and Jen, The Addam's Family), this exciting production is directed by Taryn Turney and will play a 3-week limited engagement. Performances will begin Thursday, July 12th and continue through Saturday, July 28th at The Secret Theatre. Virginia Rep announces the return of Always…Patsy Cline featuring Debra Wagoner and Terri Moore and the full band from the Hanover Tavern stage. The show will reopen on August 10 at the Willow Lawn stage, 1601 Willow Lawn Drive, and will run through September 16.

The Theater Company of Hoboken (TTC) will reprise its production of THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE in not one, but two unique outdoor venues this month. This delightful, comic operetta, with music by Arthur Sullivan and libretto by W. S. Gilbert, is directed by veteran TTC director/adaptor/actor Clara Barton Green. The Media Theatre's Teen Ensemble will perform JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR July 13 to August 5 in a contemporary style production. Release Point by Gino DiIorio, directed by Jeff Zinn will be presented on July 11; Apeshit (note: if unprintable, please spell it Apesh!t) by Philip Gerson, directed by Bob Jaffe on July 23; and Existing Privilege by James DeMarse, directed by Matthew Penn on August 8.

Westport Country Playhouse will stage Moliere's timeless comedy, "Tartuffe," featuring in the title role three-time Tony Award-nominee Marc Kudisch (Broadway's "9 to 5," "The Apple Tree," "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang," "Assassins," "Thoroughly Modern Millie," "Bells Are Ringing," "The Wild Party," "The Scarlet Pimpernel (3.0)," "High Society," "Beauty and the Beast," "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat," and "A Minister's Wife."). David Kennedy, Playhouse associate artistic director, will helm the production playing July 17 through August 4. The work is translated by Richard Wilbur.

Amphibian Stage Productions today announced that it would mount a new production of its 2003 hit The True History of the Tragic Life and Triumphant Death of Julia Pastrana, the Ugliest Woman in the World by Shaun Prendergast. This show will be the first in Amphibian's new home on South Main Street, running October 25 - November 18, 2012. Amphibian also announced that its previously scheduled fall show, Fiction, will be postponed until the 2013 season.
