The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Executive Director Patrick Willingham) will begin previews on Monday, August 6 for The Mobile Shakespeare Unit's RICHARD III, directed by Amanda Dehnert. Following a three-week tour, bringing free Shakespeare to audiences who have limited or no access to the arts, RICHARD III will run at The Public Theater through Saturday, August 25, with an official press opening on Saturday, August 11. Tickets are $15 and on sale now.

The Warner Stage Company's ends its 2011-2012 Season with the much loved family musical, ANNIE on the Warner main stage. Winner of seven Tony Awards, ANNIE is based upon the popular Harold Gray comic strip Little Orphan Annie, with music by Charles Strouse, lyrics by Martin Charnin.

Drumline Live kicks off its fourth U.S. tour bringing the American marching band experience to the Merriam Theater, Wed.-Thurs, October 17-18, 2012. Fast with their sticks and just as fast with their feet, Drumline Live's cast of 30+ musicians and dancers have trained in marching band programs across the southern United States presenting dynamic, athletic performances to the rousing sounds of the great brass tradition, as well as contemporary, hip-hop, Motown, and gospel music. This coming fall, students at the Franklin School for the Performing Arts (FSPA) will have the opportunity to participate in a new interdisciplinary dance program with what's being described as 'a host of innovative features.' Project Dance is the brainchild of FSPA faculty members, Casey Harkness Andrade and Jenny Oliver, who will serve as program coordinators. Offered to students in grades 3 and up, Project Dance enables students to build their own individualized programs by drawing upon the many complimentary dance disciplines, classes and performance opportunities offered at FSPA.

Kimberley Locke releases her latest single, "Finally Free," on July 31st. The extended package, releasing September 4th, includes 11 remixes by dynamo names like Smash Mode, Almighty, and DJ Yiannis. "Finally Free" is packed with dance beats and Locke's trademark powerhouse vocals. The empowering song tells the story of regaining control and the freedom that comes with living as you are. Its corresponding video, shot over three days in Los Angeles, will debut on Entertainment Tonight in early August.

'Spelling Bee' is a one-act musical comedy conceived by Rebecca Feldman with music and lyrics by William Finn, a book by Rachel Sheinkin, and additional material by Jay Reiss. The show centers on a fictional spelling bee set in geographically ambiguous Putnam Valley Middle School. Six quirky adolescents compete in the Bee, run by three equally quirky grown-ups.
