Four time Grammy winner, Lyle Lovett returns to the Warner Theatre on Sunday, August 12 at 7pm.

Westport Country Playhouse will stage the world premiere of a new comedy, "Harbor," written by two-time Tony Award nominee Chad Beguelin and directed by Playhouse artistic director Mark Lamos, August 28 - September 15. The cast includes Tony Award nominee Bobby Steggert (Broadway's "Ragtime"), Emmy Award nominee Paul Anthony Stewart ("Guiding Light"), Kate Nowlin and Alexis Molnar.

The Philadelphia Orchestra Association (POA) and its wholly owned subsidiary, the Academy of Music, Inc. (AOM), announced today that it has officially emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, effective July 30, 2012. As previously announced, the Association's Plan of Reorganization was confirmed by the United States Bankruptcy Court of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania on June 28, 2012. Through its financial reorganization, the Association addressed more than $100 million in claims, debts, and liabilities with a settlement of $5.49 million. Of that total, $4.25 million will be paid as of the effective date. The remainder of the Association's settlement payments will be distributed based upon previously agreed upon multi-year schedules.

Nederlander Presentations, Inc. today announced the complete cast for the new production of the international musical sensation JEKYLL & HYDE returning to Broadway in Spring 2013, following a 25-week National Tour.

Paul Chequer and Mark Quartley will share the title role in Michael Morpurgo's Private Peaceful which will have a strictly limited run at the Theatre Royal Haymarket from 18 - 29 September 2012. Directed and adapted for the stage by Simon Reade, award-winning children's author Michael Morpurgo's Private Peaceful has designs by Bill Talbot and sound by Jason Barnes.

Musical Theatre Guild, the winner of the Los Angles Drama Critic's Circle Margaret Harford Award for sustained excellence in the theatre, has announced a change in its seventeenth season of Broadway in Concert musicals.

The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Executive Director Patrick Willingham) will begin previews on Monday, August 6 for The Mobile Shakespeare Unit's RICHARD III, directed by Amanda Dehnert. Following a three-week tour, bringing free Shakespeare to audiences who have limited or no access to the arts, RICHARD III will run at The Public Theater through Saturday, August 25, with an official press opening on Saturday, August 11. The Warner Stage Company's ends its 2011-2012 Season with the much loved family musical, ANNIE on the Warner main stage. Winner of seven Tony Awards, ANNIE is based upon the popular Harold Gray comic strip Little Orphan Annie, with music by Charles Strouse, lyrics by Martin Charnin.

From Thursday 11 - Saturday 27 October, the Melbourne Festival will take up residence at Arts Centre Melbourne, which becomes a hub of activity with over 10 events being staged across its venues.

This coming fall, students at the Franklin School for the Performing Arts (FSPA) will have the opportunity to participate in a new interdisciplinary dance program with what's being described as 'a host of innovative features.' Project Dance is the brainchild of FSPA faculty members, Casey Harkness Andrade and Jenny Oliver, who will serve as program coordinators. Offered to students in grades 3 and up, Project Dance enables students to build their own individualized programs by drawing upon the many complimentary dance disciplines, classes and performance opportunities offered at FSPA.
