ScoBar Entertainment will present The Three Degrees ("When Will I See You Again," "Dirty Ol' Man," "TSOP") at The Iridium, on Friday & Saturday, November 16 & 17, 2010 at 8 & 10pm. The "Longest Running Female Vocal Trio" in history (according to the Guinness Book of World Records), will make their first New York City appearance in 25 years.

The Boiler Room Theatre (BRT), Williamson County's original and longest-running professional theatre company, will celebrate this holiday season with not one, but two productions sure to delight audiences - the beloved children's classic A YEAR WITH FROG AND TOAD and Christopher Durang's loopy comedy MRS. BOB CRATCHIT'S WILD CHRISTMAS BINGE. The productions will both be performed through the holiday season, running from November 24th through December 23rd. The Historic North Theatre will have Danville's classic rock radio station, 1045 The Dan, present THE RETURN-The Beatles Tribute Band at the theatre, 629 N. San Jose Mayor Chuck Reed and the San Jose City Council commended the Nederlander Company at today's city council meeting in celebration of the organization's century of promoting Broadway and concerts. For over 100 years, the Nederlander Organization has helped shape the theater and entertainment industry. Sing-A-Long Sound of Music once again beckons turkey-stuffed friends and families to Chicago's Music Box Theatre for Thanksgiving weekend. The spirited audience-participation event includes a presentation of the 1962 Rogers & Hammerstein movie musical The Sound of Music in glorious Technicolor and full-screen Cinemascope. Lyrics are projected on the screen during the movie so that the audience can easily sing along to "Do-Re-Me," "Edelweiss" and, of course, "My Favorite Things." An inquisitive explorer of sounds orchestral and electronic, musical and textual, Olga Neuwirth returns to Miller this December. A student of Nono and Murail, the Austrian composer first burst onto the international scene at age 22, when her operas premiered at the Vienna Festival; debuts at Salzburg and Lucerne soon followed.

This December marks the end of OUR HIT PARADE, the "hilarious" (New York Post) live, top-ten countdown at Joe's Pub at The Public that has been the centerpiece of New York's downtown performance art scene for over five years. Northlight Theatre, under the direction of Artistic Director BJ Jones and Executive Director Timothy J. Evans, continues its 2012-2013 season with Matthew Lopez's The Whipping Man, directed by Kimberly Senior. Aurora Theatre Company continues its 21sr season with the World Premiere of OUR PRACTICAL HEAVEN from acclaimed playwright Anthony Clarvoe (Pick Up Ax, Show and Tell, Ambition Facing West). This family drama, which originated as one of Aurora Theatre Company's Global Age Project (GAP) finalists in 2011, is the third main stage production to develop from the GAP. In OUR PRACTICAL HEAVEN, three generations of family gather over three holidays in a home none of them expects to long survive the rising sea. They do chores, text each other, and dance. They watch the birds, and watch each other, while struggling for loyalty, legacy, and turf. By the end, everything has shifted and a new generation is in charge, but of what? OUR PRACTICAL HEAVEN addresses the changing tides of communication, gender roles, and society in a place where even the notions of home and family remain fluid. GAP director Allen McKelvey helms this six character play.

The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra's Talent Development Program (TDP), which supports the musical development of talented young African-American and Latino students, will hold its annual Fall Musicale on Sunday, December 2, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. The Musicale, held in support of the Azira G. Rising Sun Performance Company (Akia, Founding Artistic Director) announced today that Hotel Suite, its three-week site specific group of plays set in a real Upper West Side hotel room, will extend performances of Fool for Love by Sam Shepard, and Room 128, a collection of short hotel-themed plays, through November 10th at Hostelling International (891 Amsterdam Avenue at 103rd Street). Originally scheduled to close November 3rd, Hotel Suite was dark for much of its original final week of performances due to Hurricane Sandy.
