Jessica Lewis Jessica has worked in theater for nearly ten years. She has worked in theatrical production for the producers of STOMP, DAMN YANKEES, NUNSENSE, DINNER WITH FRIENDS and more, and for over 5 years has been involved in the Whoopi Goldberg-produced White Noise, having discovered the production at the 2006 New York Musical Theatre Festival. She has since helped foster its growth through multiple large-scale workshops and two major commercial productions as an Associate Producer. After dedicating many years to theatrical and live entertainment production work that has taken her all over the world in 2009 she assumed the post of Senior Managing Editor at BroadwayWorld.com, the largest theater site on the net, for which she controls operations, routinely interviews Broadway's A-list talent and films/edits a bulk of the sites popular BWW TV content. She is a graduate of Brown University and has worked professionally in production for the Brown University Department of Theatre, Speech and Dance, Rights and Reasons Theatre, the New York Theatre Workshop and more.

Lincoln Center Theater (under the direction of André Bishop, Artistic Director, and Bernard Gersten, Executive Producer) has announced that Thomas Sadoski will join Stockard Channing, Stacy Keach, Linda Lavin and Elizabeth Marvel in the cast of its upcoming production of OTHER DESERT CITIES, a new play by Jon Robin Baitz, directed by Joe Mantello. Entertainment Weekly is reporting that The Office will air a GLEE tribute episode, in which the Office staff congregates to watch the FOX hit show, sometime in the near future. No air dates have been revealed yet, however Entertainment Weekly does confirm that the GLEE stars themselves will not be making cameos. Stay tuned for details! Reps for LOVE NEVER DIES have confirmed to the New York Times this morning that indeed the production will not open on Broadway as planned in the Spring of 2011. Adrian Bryan-Brown of the Boneau Bryan Brown agency wrote in an e-mail to the Times: '‘Love Never Dies' will not be opening on Broadway this Spring...Further news about the show will be announced shortly.'

New York City Center will present 'Musical Theater: From the Page to the Stage,' a new series curated and hosted by Tony Award-winning actress and master teacher Victoria Clark, on three Monday nights beginning October 18 and continuing on February 28 and May 16. The first program will feature Tony-nominated choreographer Christopher Gattelli and will focus on the choreographer's role in the creation of a new musical.

Signature Theatre Company's production of Tony Kushner's ANGELS IN AMERICA: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes, began performances Tuesday, September 14. The first New York revival of Kushner's Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning play is directed by Michael Greif. The production, originally slated to run through December 19, has been extended a second time through February 20, 2011. Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg, Governor David A. Paterson and Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver today announced an agreement to create a $100 million fund for the Performing Arts Center at the World Trade Center site with federal funds directed to Lower Manhattan. The performing arts center is part of the Master Plan for the Redevelopment of the World Trade Center and is expected to serve as a cultural anchor for Lower Manhattan. This is part of a process for defining priority uses for the remaining Federal money. Federal funds will also be used for Lower Manhattan utility infrastructure upgrades and economic development, transportation, cultural and community projects, including the East River Waterfront Esplanade and Piers Project, upgrades to Water Street, small business development, the completion and maintenance of parks and transportation improvements. The Lower Manhattan Development Corporation, the entity responsible for signing off on the federal allocation, will work to develop detailed proposals for these priority projects, and will solicit public input. The Board is expected to vote on these proposals at its next meeting in November.

Deadline.com has just announced that Graham King has acquired the coveted film rights to Broadway's JERSEY BOYS for his GK Films in an auction. Deadline writes: 'Book writers Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice will write the script. King and GK Films partner Tim Headington will produce. The deal was described as 'groundbreaking;' I'm told it was a substantial seven-figures.'

She says, 'Sarah Hyland (who plays Haley)... was on Broadway in Annie... and Ariel [Winter can sing too]...Eric, Ty, Jesse [and] Sofia [can all sing].'

Recently, the Associated Press was invited inside the Foxwoods Theatre to observe SPIDER-MAN in rehearsal. As reported on ABC News today, reporter Mark Kennedy reveals that the production will feature '41 cast members, 18 orchestra members and about 18 new songs by U2's Bono and the Edge.' The spared-no-expense 60M production also features a circular conveyor belt and high-intensity arial choreography by Cirque du Soliel.
