The website for RACE, the new play written and directed by David Mamet, is now live at David Mamet, is now live at www.raceonbroadway.com The website has already received interest and inquiries from a number of inner city radio station listeners, women’s rights groups, community leaders and activists who are drawn to the new websites’ sleek and sexy content that further deepens the background and mysteries of the show’s plot. Because of the subject matter and the title of Race, the website is attracting a lot of social conscience groups, community leaders and organizations. Race stars James Spader, David Alan Grier, Kerry Washington and Richard Thomas. RACE will make its world premiere at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre (located at 243 West 47th St.) and opens Sunday, December 6, 2009. RACE features sets by Tony Award winner Santo Loquasto, lighting design by Brian MacDevitt and costumes by Tom Broecker.
