RAIN Recoups Initial Investment on Broadway; Adds Holiday ShowsDecember 27, 2010The producers of RAIN - A Tribute to The Beatles On Broadway announced today that it has recouped its initial investment of $2 million in seven weeks. Additionally, due to overwhelming demand RAIN has added three special holiday performances on Tuesday, December 28th at 2pm, Friday, December 31st at 2pm and Saturday, January 1st at 2pm. RAIN, which opened on October 26, 2010 at the Neil Simon Theatre will play its final performance there on January 15, 2010 before reopening at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 W. 47th Street) on February 8, 2011.

Goldberg-Produced WHITE NOISE Heads to Chicago this SpringDecember 22, 2010A casting notice just released by AEA reveals that the Whoopi Goldberg-produced White Noise will play its pre-Broadway engagement at the Royal George Theatre in Chicago this spring. Performances are scheduled to begin on April 1, with an opening date of April 9. Rehearsals begin in February in New York City. Last month, White Noise director Sergio Trujillo has suggested the show may be Chicago-bound, telling the Tribune: 'I think we're going to get it up in Chicago...Soon.'

Fortunately, Tierney landed such that he avoided any crippling neck or spinal injury. He is still being held at the hospital in serious, but stable condition.
