Ghostlight Records confirms the 9/30 digital release of the Original Broadway Cast Album of '13, A New Musical'. This will be a rare instance where the cast album is recorded and released before performances have officially begun. The physical CD will be available for purchase at The Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre in the weeks ahead, as well as via the Ghostlight website.

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts presents DRUID theater company in a double bill of The Shadow of the Glen and The Playboy of the Western World in the Terrace Theater October 22-25, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. as part of the Center's etcetera! series.

Following rave reviews and a sold out run, COLLEGE The Musical has extended at this year's New York Musical Theater Festival. Ghostlight Records is proud to announce the October 27th release of a Collector's Edition double-CD of 'Reefer Madness', featuring both the Movie Soundtrack, and the original Los Angeles Cast Recording. The double-CD contains new Author Notes, written by By Kevin Murphy & Dan Studney, and also features a 'flipover booklet', which contains artwork and lyrics for both CDs. Murphy & Studney commented: 'This double CD of 'Reefer Madness' marks the culmination of a 10 year journey for us. It began in 1997, during a road trip back from San Francisco, where we got the idea that it might be fun to write a musical about singing, dancing potheads. Being in San Francisco can give you ideas like that.'

Actress, singer, and comedienne Hanna LoPatin will be directed by comedienne Ana Gasteyer, best known for her work on Saturday Night Live, in the one woman show, The Sound of One Hanna Clapping at Comedy Central Stage at the Hudson, Tues. Oct. 14 & IO West Theatre, Thurs., Oct. 16. LoPatin's Los Angeles dates come on the heels of her August performances of the show at The New York International Fringe Festival (FringeNYC), the largest multi-arts Festival in North America, FringeNYC, where she was lauded with Best Bet notices.

NYMF has added a performance of Idaho! a new American comedy musical with book, music and lyrics by Buddy Sheffield and music by Keith Thompson on Wednesday, October 1st at 37 Arts Theatre (450 W. 37th Street).
