As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Jonathan Butterell will choreograph the upcoming new musical THE LAST DANCE. A casting notice out by J. Binder today reveals that he is seeking entirely seniors 65+ for the cast. The show's concept involves featuring performers over the age of 65 singing current pop music.

According to Variety, Jesse Eisenberg has signed on to the film '30 Minutes or Less' alongside Aziz Ansari. Directing the film will be Ruben Fieischer. '30 Minutes or Less' is written by Matthew Sullivan and Michael Diliberti.

According to Dealine.com Christina Aguilera has cancelled her 2010 US tour. Tickets were scheduled to go on sale for the tour this upcoming weekend and launch on July 15 in Connecticut. Leona Lewis was to be Aquilera's opening act.

MID-LIFE! THE CRISIS MUSICAL is set to play at The Crown Uptown Theatre June 25 through August 15. The show was created by Bob Walton and Jim Walton in 2006 and has been touring the country ever since. Older Daddy Music recently released the studio cast recording.

According to Variety, the reimagined production of PETER PAN by Three Sixty, currently playing in San Fransisco, will embark on a National Tour sometime in the fall. Tour dates have not yet been announced, however, the multi-media spectacular is scheduled to play out in San Fransisco through October. Producers tell Variety that Los Angeles will likely be the next stop, with New York also in the mix. Producers are seeking to make special arrangements with Actor's Equity for the tour.

The Awesome 80s Prom, now in its 6th year at the famed club Webster Hall welcomed Dustin Diamond, best known as Screech from the hit TV series 'Saved by the Bell,' on Friday, May 21st for six weeks only through June 26th. The show's conceiver and director, Ken Davenport, revised the script and created a special role for Diamond to play - the role of Dustin Diamond himself. BroadwayWorld was on hand to shoot the rehearsal and Diamond's performance debut.
