This year's event raises funds for both the Neo-Futurists and Illinois Safe Schools Alliance. 30 Queer Plays in 60 Straight Minutes is a special edition of Too Much Light... that pulls favorite queer-sexuality and gender bending themed plays from the past year into one fabulous Pride show.

McCarter Theatre presents Sleeping Beauty Wakes, a new musical featuring a book by Rachel Sheinkin (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), and a score by composer Brendan Milburn and lyricist Valerie Vigoda, both of the acclaimed trio GrooveLily. The production, which runs through June 5, is directed by Rebecca Taichman, who delighted McCarter audiences with her 2009 production of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night. The show had its opening night Friday, May 6. Following the McCarter run, the production will move to La Jolla Playhouse. Check out a sneak peek of the show below!

An affectionate paean to Smalltown, U.S.A., of a bygone era, Meredith Willson's 'The Music Man' follows fast-talking traveling salesman Harold Hill as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys' band he vows to organize - despite the fact that he doesn't know a trombone from a treble clef. But his plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian the town librarian, who transforms him into a respectable citizen by curtain's fall.

VH1 announced today that it will air the 17th annual 'Critics' Choice Movie Awards' on Thursday, January 12 at 9:00 PM ET/PT. This year marks the first year that the show will be held on a Thursday and the fifth straight year the network will televise the event. In addition, Den of Thieves will produce for the second year with Jesse Ignjatovic serving as executive produce for the third year.
