The award-winning MNM Theatre Company, under the direction of Executive Producer and Artistic Director Marcie Gorman, will mount two of Broadway's most beloved and successful musicals in 2019.  Man of La Mancha will run from September 13th through September 29th, and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum will run from November 22nd through December 8th.  Both shows will be performed in the Raymond F. Kravis Center's Rinker Playhouse, and Forum will be a co-presentation with the Kravis Center.  

Pigs Do Fly Productions presents 2 Across, Jerry Mayer's 'comedy of crosswords and romance'. The show will run open at Empire Stage in Fort Lauderdale on March 7th and run through March 24th.

Stage Door Theatre presents My One and Only - The Gershwin Musical. The show will open on March 8th, and run through March 24th at the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center (LPAC).

The tour comes on the heels of the release of the group's 13th studio album of the same name. Celtic Woman will visit nearly 70 North American cities in 2019 including one performance at The Charles F. Dodge City Center in Pembroke Pines on Tuesday, March 5th at 7:30 pm.

Rehearsals have begun for 2 Across, Pigs Do Fly Productions' upcoming production of Jerry Mayer's 'comedy of crosswords and romance'. The show will run from March 7th through March 24th at Empire Stage in Fort Lauderdale.

Hadar Galron's powerful play, Mikveh, offers a glimpse into the secretive world of the Jewish ritual bath. The intimate stories of seven women unfold in this revealing story of religious observance and evolving feminist consciousness. With humor, sincerity and tragedy, this provocative play explores the evolving position of women in this religious society. Nominated for six Israeli National theatre awards and winning two, including Play of the Year for 2005, Mikveh will be performed at 2 pm and 7:30 pm at Boca Raton's B'nai Torah Congregation on February 20th, 2019 in the Weiner Auditorium.

Old Jews Telling Jokes has added Janna Morrison to their talented cast of characters.  She replaces Sharon Geller, who had a prior commitment out of town. Janna was recently seen as Miss Lynch in MNM Theatre Company's production of Grease.   

Stage Door Theatre's presents Mel Brooks' record-breaking, award-winning musical comedy The Producers.   Variety's Charles Isherwood called the show a 'a rip-roaring, gut-busting, rib-tickling, knee-slapping, aisle-rolling … good time', and it definitely set the standard for outrageous, in-your-face, politically incorrect humor.  The Producers will run through February 10th at the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center (LPAC). 

Old Jews Telling Jokes celebrates the rich tradition of Jewish humor, 'and all the rabbis, complaining wives, fed-up husbands, patience-challenged physicians, gossiping ladies, and competitive men' populating it. 

Mel Brooks' musical comedy The Producers won a record-setting 12 Tonys in 2001, including Best Musical - the most in the awards' history. It also set the standard for outrageous, in-your-face, politically incorrect humor. The show will open on January 18th and run through February 10th.

From Irving Berlin to Leonard Bernstein, and from Rodgers and Hammerstein to Stephen Sondheim, not to mention Fanny Brice, Zero Mostel, Jerry Orbach, and Barbra Streisand, Jewish composers and artists have contributed tremendously to Broadway.   Black Box Booking and Hy Juter will present To Life: Stories & Music Celebrating the Contributions of Jewish Composers to The Golden Age of Broadway at the Willow Theatre in Sugar Sand Park from January 18th through February 3rd.

Philip Roger Roy and Playhouse Productions, Inc. will present the Off-Broadway hit, Old Jews Telling Jokes at the Mizner Park Cultural Arts Center beginning January 9, 2019. The show will run through February 10.

Frank Baum's classic 'The Wonderful Wizard of Oz', The Wiz is a dazzling mix of rock, gospel, and soul music, and told in the context of African American Culture. The family friendly musical will open at the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center (LPAC) on December 7th and run through December 31st.

WaistWatchers The Musical! will spend five fun-filled weeks at Actors' Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre. Produced by Dana Matthow and starring four talented local actresses, including award-winning performer Mimi J, who wowed audiences recently in I Will Survive, the musical takes a lighthearted and hilarious look at women dealing with their relationship to food, diets, body image, and fitness, while celebrating the transformative power of female friendship on the journey to self-acceptance. Capturing audiences of all ages from start to finish, the production will run from December 14th through January13th at the popular Coral Gables theatre.

Broadway, film, and television star, recording artist, author, and playwright are just a few of the titles to which Brooklyn Jewish Hall of Famer Jake Ehrenreich can lay claim.

Multi-talented singer/dancer/actor/choreographer Rome Saladino will celebrate the stylings of Grammy and Juno Award-winner Michael Buble in Feelin' Good - A Tribute to Michael Buble at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center on December 20th and return to the Boca Black Box Center for the Arts on December 23rd.  (The show was a sell-out when it played at the Boca Black Box in April.)
