Boca Bound will run from September 19th through September 22nd at the Wick Theatre in Boca Raton.

A deviously delicious Broadway horror comedy rock sci-fi musical, Little Shop of Horrors has devoured the hearts of theatre-goers for over 30 years. Sol Children Theatre will present this beloved cult classic, created by Howard Ashman and Alan Menken (Disney's The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and Aladdin), from October 4th through October 20th at Sol Theatre in Boca Raton. The production will feature a roster of talented young actors and Sol Troupe members.

The Off Broadway hit Daddy Issues, written and directed by David Goldyn, is returning to South Florida after a short but successful stint at Boca Raton's Willow Theatre last March. The production will run from October 18th through November 3rd at the Theatre at CSL (Center for Spiritual Living) in Oakland Park.    

MNM Theatre Company is pleased to announce that casting has been completed for their upcoming production of the award-winning musical Man of La Mancha, which will run from September 13 – September 29 in the Rinker Playhouse at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts.

It's never too early to think about Halloween, and who better to celebrate the fast approaching holiday with than the denizens of Dr. Frank N. Furter's home-sweet-castle in Richard O'Brien's beloved cult classic, The Rocky Horror Show.   Entr'Acte Theatrix is inviting audiences to come do the Time Warp againa?? when they present 'Rocky' in the Fieldhouse at Old School Square from September 13th through September 22nd.   

The Mersey Beatles, a Liverpool-born and bred Beatles tribute band and the house band for over a decade at Liverpool's world-famous Cavern Club, will perform at the Mizner Park Cultural Center on Saturday, October 5th at 8:00 p.m.  In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of The Beatles iconic Abbey Road, the band will play the entire album, followed by a set of Beatles' greatest hits.

Empire Stage will present a limited 13 performance run of Clemenza & Tessio Are Dead by Gregg Greenberg from August 15 a?' September 8. The play - a clever and humorous parody of the classic 1972 movie a?oeThe Godfathera?? (based on the novel by Mario Puzo), was originally produced as part of the 2009 New York City Fringe Festival.

Casting has been completed for Boca Bound: A New Musical.  The show, with a book by Bonnie Logan and music and lyrics by Richard Peshkin, both of whom are residents of Boca Raton, Florida, will have its world premiere performances at the Wick Theatre from September 19th through September 22. 

Lightning Bolt Productions will present Hair at the West Boca Performing Arts Center at West Boca High School from July 26th through August 4th.

The Kravis Center for the Performing Arts and MNM Theatre Company are pleased to announce that casting is complete for their upcoming co-production of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, which will run from November 22 -  December 8 in the Kravis' Rinker Playhouse.

Peter and the Starcatcher and Roald Dahl's Matilda The Musical will be presented in repertory style fromJuly 12th through August 4th.  Both productions will star the talented young actors who are participating in the company's Summer Repertory Theatre program. 

The Lauderhill Performing Arts Center (LPAC) has partnered with Prather Productions to produce an exciting new musical theatre series, Broadway in Broward, at the state-of-the art venue beginning in November 2019. Four productions are planned for the 2019-2020 season:  West Side Story, Once, Kinky Boots, and Beauty and the Beast.

Entr'Acte Theatrix will revisit one of the silliest places on earth when their encore production of Monty Python's Spamalot opens at the Crest Theatre at Old School Square in Delray Beach.   The show will run from June 20th through the 30th. The award-winning musical is 'lovingly ripped off' from the 1975 film Monty Python and the Holy Grail, with a book by Python Eric Idle, and a score by Idle and John Du Prez. Like the film, Spamalot is a totally irreverent and typically Pythonesque parody of the Arthurian saga:

Kevin Black, one of South Florida's best-known producer/director/choreographers, is once again collaborating with award-winning vocalist Mimi J to create a concert program that will appeal to audiences of all ages. The two have worked together several times developing shows that achieved great success - most notably On the Radio: Sounds of the 70s, which debuted at Stage Door Theatre in 2014, and eventually morphed into I Will Survive.  That show went on to play several other area venues. 

Award-winning actress, singer, and director Avery Sommers will add teacher to her already impressive resume this summer; the powerhouse performer will conduct two eight-week master classes at Actor's Rep in West Palm Beach.

The timeless music of George and Ira Gershwin plus an aviator, a Channel swimmer, exuberant dance numbers, sparkling costumes, romance, comedy, and America in 1927 equals My One and Only, Stage Door Theatre's upcoming production at the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center (LPAC). The show will open on March 8th and run through March 24th.
