An explosive play by an Israeli about three Palestinian brothers locked in a life-and-death struggle over issues of deception and betrayal. Set in a village on the West Bank in 1990, with the Israeli-Arab struggle as its backdrop, the play depicts the tragedy of one family torn between duty, kinship, principles and survival.

Caldwell Theatre Company announced a summer season that embraces diversity and theatricality. Embarking on the successful formula of summers past, they will open the summer season with a World Premiere by South Florida playwright Michael McKeever, and his comedic take on the famous Collyer Brothers of Harlem, titled Stuff. The comedy will be followed by a classically executed drama, Six Years, by the up and coming writer Sharr White.

New York actress Marina Re returns to FST as the wife, Mary, after appearing as the mother in both The Miamians and Boleros for the Disenchanted. Actors' Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre closes the 2010-2011 season with the world premiere of See Jane Run!, a new musical by Maribeth Graham and Dana P. Rowe. A multiple nominee and three-time recipient of the Carbonell Award, Graham has appeared in New York City Off-Broadway, many times at Actors' Playhouse and in most major South Florida regional theaters. Rowe, whose musical works include Zombie Prom, The Fix, and The Witches of Eastwick, has received Olivier Award nominations for The Fix and The Witches of Eastwick, both of which were produced in London's West End by Sir Cameron Mackintosh.

In response to the sudden closure this week of Florida Stage, Judith A. Mitchell, Chief Executive Officer of the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts, today announced that the Center would offer a complimentary ticket for each ticket purchased through the Kravis Center's box office to Florida Stage's now-cancelled production of Ella. The 'comps' can be used at any 'Kravis Center presents' performance in the Rinker Playhouse, Persson Hall or Gosman Amphitheatre during the 2011-2012 season, based on availability.

West Palm Beach's longest residing professional theatre, Palm Beach Dramaworks, concludes its 11th anniversary season with 'The Beauty Queen of Leenane,' a dark comedy by acclaimed playwright Martin McDonagh on Friday, May 6th (8PM) at their intimate downtown theatre (322 Banyan Boulevard). Special priced preview performances are slated for May 4th (2PM & 8PM) & 5th (8PM) and the production will play through June 19th.
