John Tartaglia's IMAGINOCEAN, a new family musical adventure, created and written by Emmy and Tony Award nominated actor John Tartaglia, opened at the NEW WORLD STAGES last night, March 31, 2010. BroadwayWorld was on hand to capture the evening.
The National Entertainment Fund for the Cultural Arts (NEFCA) and event Co-Chair Michael Steinhardt presented the 6th Annual Broadway Purim Shpiel at the Hudson Theatre on Monday, March 1st, 2010. For one night only, stars from Broadway's biggest hit shows joined together for the Broadway Purim Shpiel, a comedic retelling of the Purim story. All proceeds from the NEFCA production will benefit The Birthright Israel Foundation, an organization dedicated to sending young Jews from across the world to Israel.
The Pulitzer Prize and Obie Award-winning Theatre for the New City (TNC) held its 7th Annual LOVE 'N' COURAGE Gala on Monday, February 22nd at the National Arts Club, this year honoring the beloved acting couple Eli Wallach and Anne Jackson, as well as Martha Coigney, director of the International Theatre Institute (ITI) in the U.S. for over 35 years. The renowned actors/playwright Charles Busch hosted.

ZERO HOUR, Jim Brochu's award-winning play about the life of theatre legend Zero Mostel is making its Off-Broadway premiere at Theatre at Saint Clement's. Previews began Saturday, November 14th. Produced by Kurt Peterson and Edmund Gaynes in association with The Peccadillo Theater Company, the show celebrated its Opening Night on Sunday, November 22nd at 7 p.m. The limited engagement of ZERO HOUR will continue through January 31st.
