Internationally acclaimed pianist Sophia Agranovich will present a concert at the Watchung Arts Center in Watchung, New Jersey. The performance will feature a program of classical works highlighting Romantic and Impressionist repertoire. The concert is scheduled for 8:00 PM, with tickets priced at $25.

The program will open with a Prelude by Claude Debussy, followed by Fantaisie in F minor by Frédéric Chopin. The performance will also include selections from Franz Liszt’s Transcendental Études, including Ricordanza and Appassionata, and will conclude with Robert Schumann’s Carnaval.

TICKETING INFORMATION

Tickets are $25 and are available via Humanitix or at the door. The concert will take place at the Watchung Arts Center, located at 18 Stirling Road in Watchung, New Jersey.

Sophia Agranovich is a Steinway Artist, recording artist, and educator. She has performed at venues including David Geffen Hall at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Théâtre Na Loba, Teatro di Marcello, Salle Cortot, and Ehrbar Saal. Her recordings have received international recognition, and she has received more than 80 awards from competitions including The American Prize and the Bergen Philharmonic Competition.

Agranovich studied at The Juilliard School with Sascha Gorodnitzki and Nadia Reisenberg, earning both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. She later pursued doctoral studies at Columbia University and currently serves as Artistic Director of the classical music series at the Watchung Arts Center, as well as Program Chair of the Music Educators Association of New Jersey.
