Feature: THEATERCOUCH IS BACK at Theatercouch

The Theatercouch, well-known to Viennese musical fans for the works of composer Rory Six (e.g., Luna, Wenn Rosenblätter fallen), has finally found a permanent home. The Kaisersaal in Vienna’s 7th district is being transformed into an intimate, cozy hub for modern musical theater, featuring upgraded stage tech and an inviting theater bar.

To fund this major project, the team is launching a crowdfunding campaign on Startnext and kicking things off with a special benefit concert: "My Musicals Hautnah" on August 28th at the Franz Fürst Freizeitzentrum in Wiener Neudorf.  Rory Six will perform alongside top-tier musical stars Annemieke van Dam (e.g., Elisabeth, Mary Poppins), Amelie Polak (Maria Theresia), and Nicolas Tenerani (e.g., Dance of the Vampires). An intimate evening with pure voices and a piano. Something, definitely not to miss! Bringing back the Theaterouch with a permanent home can be seen as a remarkably important sign, creating a space to develop new stories and bring creatives together.

All proceeds from the concert will go directly into transforming the venue into an important cultural hotspot.
