One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest at Athenaeum Theatre

A bold new production of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, adapted by Dale Wasserman from the landmark novel by Ken Kesey, plays exclusively at Melbourne's historic Athenaeum Theatre for a strictly limited season. Jason Donovan stars as the rebellious Randle P. McMurphy, with Nadine Garner as Nurse Ratched and Jeremy Proulx as Chief Bromden. The production is directed by Roger Hodgman, with set design by Richard Rogers and costume design by Ella Butler. The story follows the charismatic troublemaker McMurphy as he disrupts a psychiatric institution ruled by the formidable Nurse Ratched, inspiring the patients around him to rediscover courage and dignity.
