The Royal Shakespeare Company's production of Matilda The Musical, based on Roald Dahl's beloved book, tells the story of an extraordinary young girl with an astonishing imagination, a brilliant mind and an unbreakable spirit. Written by Dennis Kelly, with music and lyrics by Tim Minchin, the production is directed by Matthew Warchus. Winner of 101 international awards, it has been seen by more than 13 million people worldwide. Following its Melbourne season, the production will travel to Sydney Lyric and QPAC's Lyric Theatre in Brisbane.
