Melbourne's globally beloved variety icons Finucane & Smith ring in the Year of the Dragon, with the return of their smash-hit luminous cabaret of home, heart and belonging House of the Heart, surrounded by processional dragons, 13 extraordinary artistes, and Lucky Dragon cocktails.
The Chinese Museum’s Dragon Gallery is the luckiest place in town, melding the ancient with the contemporary in a velvety lair filled with song, opera, storytelling and dance. Inspired by nearly a decade’s rich and deep collaboration in Chinese and Australian adventures, House of the Heart is an intercultural celebration of home, ancestors and how we got here – a cocktail of voices, stories and artforms across ages, those from far away and those who have always been here.
From proud Indigenous jazz legends to multi-awarded Chinese indi-pop stars, House of the Heart is a melting pot of performers surrounded by large-scale processional dragons, beneath intricate Chinese lanterns.
