WOMEN OF THE WHITE HOUSE: MAKE CABARET GREAT AGAIN Comes to Hare Hole
![]()
Malignant nuclear pussy-grabbing pumpkin, or the smartest guy in the room and staunch feminist? Sure, Donald Trump presents as a tweeting Edgelord with the negotiating skills of a toddler after twelve cans of Diet Coke, but he's flanked by two of Americas strongest, most enigmatic women.
Women of the White House, starring Melania Trump (Ebony McGeady), Kellyanne Conway (Sam Coats), and their all-American back-up cheer squad (Laura Morrisby and Claire Vandali), is an all-singing, all-dancing, part drag, all wigs, tell-all expose of true facts, fake news, and modern day right wing conservative feminism from inside the big orange world of Trump.
Coats and McGeady are two music theatre performers with an interest in politics, character cabaret, slut drops, king-making, and trying to work out what secret message Melania Trump is trying to send the world through the writing on her jackets and caps.
Women of the White House, directed by Fiona Scott-Norman and featuring the musical direction of piano legend Rainer Pollard, is a smart, topical, transgressive cabaret by two upcoming musical talents. It lands in mid-February at Hares & Hyenas in Fitzroy, home of fearless, ambiguous, and gutsy entertainment.
