Cast and Creative team for Fiend's Folio: An Evening with Shakespeare's Monsters at Austin Community College Drama Department

Cast

Joshua Braun

Macbeth
Joshua is beyond thrilled to be appearing in his first staged role as a Drama Major at ACC, and to return to the stage after a hiatus of nearly ten years! Born in New Orleans and raised here in Austin, Josh grew up in and around Austin’s theatre community; but lived on the streets from 2015 - 2021. He has appeared in Almost Maine, as hosted by the Blue Theatre, Vortex Repertory Company’s adaptations of Commedia Del Errors & You Can’t Take It With You, and won a B. Iden Payne Award for his portrayal of Sir Isaac Newton in The Physicists (2011 Vortex Rep Co). Josh is a frequently spotted local street performer who’s gigs & achievements have been featured in The Chronicle & The Austin American Statesman, and he’s especially excited to be the leaseholder of his very own one-bedroom apartment, complete with running water and electricity. He’d like to thank his mom, partner, and closest family friends for helping him to this point. After graduating, Josh says he hopes to continue his education in New York, where can try his hand as a subway performer and pursue his dream of a life in the arts. Failing that, he hopes to one day own a shower curtain; or perhaps make the upgrade to three-ply toilet paper.
