The TexARTS Summer Musical Theatre Academy presents GREASE, based on the electrifyin' Broadway and Hollywood smash-hit from June 27 through 30, 2014.

After spending a hopelessly devoted summer with Sandy, the new girl in town, Danny Zuko's world is thrown upside down when Sandy appears at Rydell High on the first day of school. What follows is a rock n' roll celebration of growin' up and falling in love in the fabulous fifties. The production features the hugely popular songs Summer Nights, Greased Lightnin' and We Go Together.

This production of America's favorite musical is brought to the stage by the creative team of director Keenah Armitage (B'way's Jesus Christ Superstar, Aida), musical director Nissa Kahle and choreographer Darren Gibson.

GREASE will be performed Friday through Monday, June 27 - 30 at the Kam & James Morris Theatre at TexARTS (2300 Lohman's Spur, Suite #160, Lakeway, TX). Performance schedule: Friday at 6 p.m., Saturday and Sunday at 1 and 6 p.m. and Monday at 6 p.m.

All ages are welcome. Tickets for reserved seating are $15 and are available online at www.tex-arts.org or by calling the TexARTS Box Office at 512-852-9079 x101.
