The Michael O'Neal Singers launch their 2026–2027 mainstage season with a concert celebrating the endurance, hope, and emotional depth of the African American spiritual. The centerpiece is John Rutter's Feel the Spirit, a cycle of seven spirituals arranged for chorus, piano, and soloist. Internationally recognized soprano Indra Thomas, who has performed at the Metropolitan Opera, Vienna State Opera, and Carnegie Hall, joins the chorus as soloist. The performance is directed by Founder and Artistic Director Dr. Michael O'Neal.
