Tituss Burgess and More to Appear in Broadway Dreams Foundation's TAKE IT TO THE LIMIT at Atlanta Lyric Theatre, 6/18

The Broadway Dreams Foundation (BDF) presents TAKE IT TO THE LIMIT: Defining EXTRA-Ordinary, a unique Broadway concert event, with performances by Broadway's brightest and Atlanta's rising stars. Directed by acclaimed Atlanta-based director and choreographer Otis Sallid (Black Nativity, Smokey Joe's Cafe), TAKE IT TO THE LIMIT is the culmination of a five-day BDF musical theatre intensive where students have the unique opportunity to work with the industry's top directors, choreographers, and writers on new material currently being developed for Broadway.

The performance will feature work and appearances by film and theatre choreographer Michele Lynch (The Last Five Years, Little Miss Sunshine), the award-winning writing team of Drew Fornarola and Marshall Pailet direct from DreamWorks, Titus Burgess (Tina Fey's "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt," The Little Mermaid), Meg Gillentine (The Producers, Cats), Craig D'Amico (Fiddler on the Roof, Annie Get Your Gun), A.J. Lockhart (Bring It On: The Musical), and more.

TAKE IT TO THE LIMIT will be held on Wednesday, June 18 at 7:30 p.m. at the Atlanta Lyric Theatre's Jennie T. Anderson Theater (548 South Marietta Pkwy SE, Marietta, GA 30060). Tickets are $25 each and are available for purchase online at www.mybroadwaydreams.com/tickets

The Broadway Dreams Foundation is a premier, national performing arts education program dedicated to ongoing engagement, inspiration, and access regardless of a student's ability to pay. With a faculty of Broadway stars, directors and agents committed to giving back to the theatrical community, BDF provides invaluable training to anyone who aspires for a career in the performing arts. The unique program offers students highly personalized and supportive mentorship, an exciting, and collaborative learning environment and ongoing networking to build confidence and life skills.

As a direct result of their participation in BDF programing, more than 30 BDF students have landed roles in Broadway, national touring and regional productions, including Violet (Emerson Steele), If/Then (Ryann Redmond), Holler If Ya Hear Me (Ariana Groover), The Book of Mormon (Paris Nesbitt), Annie (Gaby Bradbury), Evita (Katie Huff), The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess (Lindsay Roberts), Motown the Musical (Rodney Earl Jackson, Galen Williams, Melanie Evans), and Barry Manilow's Harmony (Greg Kamp).
