Theatre in the Square’s Hitchcock’s Mystery Thriller, The 39 Steps Extends Performances

Theatre in the Square has added six additional performances of The 39 Stepafter having several sold out performances. The play, which is adapted by Patrick Barlow from the novel by John Buchan and Alfred Hitchcock's movie by the same title, will now have its final performance at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 27 on the Main Stage. The play, directed by Clint Thornton, is Suzi recommended and received soaring reviews. The two-time Tony® award winner, The 39 Steps, is a fast-paced thriller that follows Robert Hannay through London after being wrongly accused of committing a murder.

 

Performances are Tuesdays through Saturdays at 8 p.m., Sundays at 2:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. There is a Wednesday matinee at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 16 only. The play is recommended for ages 16 and up.
