Partial funding for these programs is provided by the Fulton County Board of Commissioners under the guidance of the Fulton County Arts Council, and by the Georgia Council for the Arts through appropriations from the Georgia General Assembly. GCA is a Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the Arts.

The term "Gloria" denotes both the joyous second part of the Ordinary of the Roman Catholic Mass and also an independent work by that name. In either case it is an expression of almost indescribable religious joy, bringing to mind such terms as rapture, ecstasy and exhilaration. The Michael O'Neal Chamber Singers present a program featuring 20th Century French composer Francis Poulenc's exuberant and jazzy Gloria, as well as many other choral declarations of joy and praise by the likes of Argento, Haydn, Puccini and Vivaldi, among others.

The Michael O'Neal Chamber Singers has emerged as one of the the Southeast's finest vocal ensembles with its choral variety and polished presentation. Performing sacred and secular selections, the 24-member group appears on concert series and for corporate, civic and private events.
