In the Heights- July 21-August 28

The duo of Atlanta theatres that brought last season's smash-hit MEMPHIS partners once again for the Tony Award and Grammy Award-winning IN THE HEIGHTS! Filled with pulsating Caribbean rhythms, vibrant hip-hop and lyrical melodies, this highly-acclaimed musical is a universal story of a Latin community in New York's Washington Heights. A place where the coffee from Usnavi's corner bodega is light and sweet, the windows are always open and the breeze carries the brink of change. Like his community, Usnavi struggles to decide which traditions to keep and which to leave behind, in his search for a place called home.

Starring: Diego Klok-Perez, Diany Rodriguez, Garrett Turner, Julissa Sabino

Serenbe Playhouse

Miss Saigon- July 21-August 27

For the first time ever presented by a professional Atlanta theatre company, Serenbe Playhouse brings us romance, adventure and tragedy with this compelling rendition of Miss Saigon. In the classic musical by Claude-Michel Schönberg and Alain Boublil, based on Giacomo Puccini's tragic opera, Madame Butterfly, an American GI falls desperately in love with a Vietnamese barmaid during our nation's most contentious war. Find yourself transported to the densely green, exceedingly mysterious wilderness of Vietnam by this enthralling presentation, complete with an actual huey helicopter that was flown in the Vietnam War, set to land in Serenbe's own mystifying forest. You'll be immersed in this harrowing tale of heartbreak and heroism as it's never been done before.
