Studio Theatre to be Named in Honor of Gwinnett Federal Credit Union
A year ago, Gwinnett Federal Credit Union began its partnership with the Aurora Theatre as the sponsor of the classic drama Dracula. That partnership opened the door to an expanded relationship which has led to a five-year $125,000 pledge by Gwinnett Federal the Aurora Theatre's capital campaign and season sponsorship. In recognition of their generosity, the Studio Theatre will named the Gwinnett Federal Credit Union Studio. The presentation was made last night during a season sponsor kick-off event at the Aurora Theatre.
The two organizations are not only close in physical proximity, but also in core values. Both are member driven organizations that see the betterment of their community as a responsibility. We both work closely with schools and recognize the contribution of local educators and others who shape the youth of our community. "As the credit union for Gwinnett County Public Schools, our priMary Focus has been on education. We strongly believe that the arts are an important component in education and our community. It seemed only natural to support both." stated Marshall Boutwell Gwinnett Federal Credit Union President & CEO.
