Serenbe Playhouse Announces Ninth Season

Serenbe Playhouse, is excited to announce Season 9: Voyage... after the rebellion, we sail on! Opening the season is Disney's THE LITTLE MERMAID where recycled ocean trash becomes Ariel's grotto. Next up is a world premiere adaptation of PETER PAN focusing on his swashbuckling pirate adventures! Sailing into the much-anticipated summer musical slot is TITANIC: The Musical in which a ship will be resurrected and submerged nightly. Closing out the summer and heading into the fall will be a waterfront fresh take on Chekhov's THE SEAGULL. Seasonal favorites THE SLEEPY HOLLOW EXPERIENCE and THE SNOW QUEEN will round out the calendar year. While planning season nine, I felt a gravitational pull toward the water. I tried to fight it for months but ultimately embraced it. Water gives us life and here we are after our most rebellious season returning to it. Every show will be set on or in the water in lakes and rivers in Serenbe. From following the iconic Disney characters into Ariel's grotto made of recycled ocean trash, to jumping aboard a pirate ship with Peter Pan, to lounging by the shore with a troubled seagull, this season will be our most daring and immersive to date... and yes, we will be creating a Titanic and sinking it nightly while honoring the lives and stories that made this moment in history so iconic.
