A haunting story of obsession, love, denial and the relationship between two people who can't live with or without each other. Inside the confines of a motel room, two estranged lovers revisit their shared history and reignite old rage. When they try to come to terms with their past the outcome is fascinating and shocking, funny and bitter. Sex, love, hate, and passion combine as they are faced with a choice: return to their combative relationship or try to live their lives alone.

ABOUT THE PLAYWRIGHT
Sam Shepard is an American playwright, actor, and television and film director. He is author of several books of short stories, essays, and memoirs, and received the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1979 for his play Buried Child. Shepard was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of pilot Chuck Yeager in The Right Stuff.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Todd Kreidler is currently writing several musical theater projects including Holler If Ya Hear Me, an original musical featuring the lyrics and music of Tupac Amaru Shakur. He was dramaturg of Radio Golf and Gem of the Ocean on Broadway and worked with August Wilson for six years developing plays in regional theaters around the country. He directed and co-conceived Mr. Wilson's one-man show How I Learned What I Learned and worked developing the screenplay adaptation of Fences. He was Associate Artistic Director of August Wilson's 20th Century at the Kennedy Center where he directed Joe Turner's Come And Gone and is co-founder of True Colors nationally growing August Wilson Monologue Competition for high school students.

CAST
Jasmine Guy a performing artist, director and choreographer has starred on Broadway in Chicago, Grease and The Wiz and on screen in Eddie Murphy's Harlem Nights and Spike Lee's School Daze. Her many TV credits include Fame, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Stompin' at the Savoy, Showtime's Dead Like Me, A Different World and most recently on Lifetime's Drop Dead Diva. Jasmine's directorial debut was True Colors Theatre Company's for colored girls who have committed suicide when the rainbow is enuff. Most recently she has directed Douglas Tappin's I Dream at the ALLIANCE THEATRE. Under the direction of Kenny Leon, Jasmine starred in Miss Evers Boys and Swimming Upstream and under the direction of Susan Booth in the ALLIANCE THEATRE's production of Pearl Cleage's Nacimera Society. Jasmine hopes to inspire and encourage the Atlanta community to become a major force in the cultural and entertainment fabric of this country.

Kenny Leon Julia Hansen Award winner and Tony nominated director; Kenny Leon is one of the most acclaimed directors in contemporary American theatre. In 2010, his hit Broadway production of Fences garnered 10 Tony Nominations including Best Director and won the Tony Award for Best Revival of a Play, Best Actor and Best Actress. Past Broadway credits include Radio Golf, Gem of the Ocean and the Tony winning revival of Lorraine Hansbury's A Raisin in the Sun. Mr. Leon was nominated for Best Director by the Directors Guild of America for the television film of ‘A Raisin in the Sun' which also received Emmy and Golden Globe nominations and won 3 NAACP Image Awards. Prior to founding Kenny Leon's True Colors Theatre Company, he served 11 years as Artistic Director of the ALLIANCE THEATRE, where he produced the premieres of Disney's Elaborate Lives: The Legend of Aida, Pearl Cleage's Blues for an Alabama Sky and Alfred Uhry's The Last Night of Ballyhoo. Other directorial credits include Toni Morrison's opera Margaret Garner, the world premiere of Flashdance: The Musical, Alicia Keys' "As I Am" worldwide tour and the August Wilson Century Cycle at the Kennedy Center, for which he was Artistic Director. He's directed extensively around the United States including Chicago's Goodman Theatre, Boston's Huntington Theatre, Baltimore's Center Stage, Los Angeles' Center Theatre Group and New York's Public Theatre. This past fall, Mr. Leon directed the world premiere of Marcus Gardley's Every Tongue Confess starring Phylicia Rashad at Arena Stage in D.C. He will return to Broadway in 2011 to direct Katour Hall's The Mountaintop and will direct the feature film 'Babylon' next spring.
